Arthritis Research Foundation & Sinai Health Foundation
We are pleased to announce an exclusive arrangement between Arthritis Research Foundation (ARF) and Sinai Health Foundation designed to leverage the strengths of both organizations in order to advance arthritis and related autoimmune disease research. ARF will be the sole fundraising arm for arthritis and related autoimmune disease research at Sinai Health System. The purpose of this partnership is to ensure we are securing as much philanthropic support from the community as possible for these debilitating diseases.
"The commitment and leadership of Sinai Health Foundation will allow us to propel breakthroughs, so we can do more for patients and families affected by these medical conditions,"
said Rick Lunny, Chair of the ARF Board of Directors.
ARF has had a long-term and positive impact on advancing research support in this critical area through its fund development activities and generous support from the philanthropic community. We are looking forward to working with the Sinai Health Foundation team and are excited about the difference we can make together.
"The premise of Sinai Health System is about getting people back to a healthy and active life. Through this partnership with ARF, we hope to make significant investments in arthritis and related autoimmune disease research at Sinai Health System, so people can do just that,"
said Joe Mapa, Chief Executive Officer, Sinai Health Foundation.
We are delighted to join the Sinai Health System family. We believe that together we will make substantial strides in supporting research efforts at Sinai Health System's Rebecca MacDonald Centre for Arthritis & Autoimmune Disease and Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute. This partnership will accelerate our ability to invest in the future of health care and personalized medicine for countless patients suffering from these diseases.
